Abstract
Sintered (Powder Metallurgy, P/M) materials usually show brittle behavior a nd for this reason their toughness is low compared with wrought materials. The impact toughness behavior of different P/M steels (Fe-3.5% Mo pre-alloy ed powders as base material) is presented and microstructural and fractogra phical results are used to amplify the data.
