Abstract
Novel toluidine derivatives are described. Some of them showed an interesti
ng in vitro activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, M. smegmatis, M. m
arinum, M. gordonae and M, avium. An anomalous reaction between cinnamoyl c
hloride and the o-, m- and pi(N-methylpiperazinomethyl)anilines has also be
en observed.
