Assessment of anthropogenically induced changes in soil microfungal complexes using the method of discriminate analysis

Application of the principal component analysis for estimation of the impac t on soil microfungal communities of the various types of anthropogenic str ess was examined. Proposed equations could be useful for the biological min itoring and could also help to distinguish both zonal differences between m icrofungal communities and anthropogenicaly induced changes in them. It was also found that soil microfungal communities from urban sites with turf-po dzolic soils zone became more similar to those from the steppe zone rather than to ones from podzolic zone.
