Transport AC losses in BiPbSrCaCuO-2223/Ag multifilamentary tape with 19 fi
laments were measured. The sample was 1.05 m long, wound in form of a helix
with a gap between the tapes comparable with the tape width. Two different
types of potential leads-tape following, axis following-with taps position
ed in the centre of the tape were mounted on inner as well as outer surface
of the helical sample. AC losses were measured at power frequencies by an
electrical method using a lock-in nanovoltmeter. The influence of potential
wires arrangement and the potential taps position on measured AC loss leve
