Production rates, signatures, and backgrounds are discussed for the first g
eneration scalar diquarks at the CERN LHC using the general, SU(3)(c) x SU(
2)(W) x U(1)(Y) invariant, effective Lagrangian. It is found that LHC will
be able to discover diquarks in the resonance channel with masses up to 3-1
0 TeV depending on their couplings. [S0556-2821(98)03123-3].
