Abstract
Synchronization of electrosensitive cells of the paddlefish is studied by m eans of electrophysiological experiments. Different types of noisy phase lo cked regimes are observed. The experimental data are compared with computer simulations of a noise-mediated modified Hodgkin-Huxley neuron model and o f a stochastic circle map. [S0031-9007(98)08238-6].
