The combined dynamics-evaporation model is used to calculate the multiplici
ties of particles emitted in the fission process. The total multiplicities
of neutrons, alpha particles, and protons are determined as functions of th
e projectile energy. By way of example, alpha + U and alpha + Th interactio
ns are considered for alpha-particle energies from 47 to 220 MeV. The resul
ts of the calculations are compared with experimental data. It is found tha
t the emission of charged particles' strongly affects deexcitation in fissi
on fragments.
