Abstract
`An ISOL-based radioactive nuclear beam facility is just about to come into operation at INS. The present status of the INS radioactive nucl ear beam project is reported. The capability of the facility and possi ble experiments are also discussed, including research programs of nuc lear physics and nuclear astrophysics.
