Abstract
We have experimentally investigated the magnetic and magnetoelastic propert ies for steel 30KhGSA deformed to different degrees by hydrostatic extrusio n. We have observed the magnetoelastic and magnetic parameters, whose behav ior as the strain increases from 0 to 60% is analogous to the behavior of t he strength characteristics. From the measured magnetic parameters, we have estimated the magnitude of the internal stresses in the material under inv estigation.
