The spin structure of the amplitudes for antiproton annihilation at re
st, (p) over bar + N --> P + V, P = pi, eta; V = rho, omega, phi, is e
stablished. The relation between symmetry properties of strong interac
tion (isospin invariance and the invariance relative to charge conjuga
tion) and the polarization effects in such reactions are derived. It i
s demonstrated that the simplest polarization effects in (p) over bar
+ N --> P + V, namely, the elements of V-meson density matrix, are sen
sitive to possible violation of the isospin invariance and C-invarianc
e. The analysis of the spin structure of P-wave annihilation amplitude
s is also presented.
