Abstract
Performing direct surgery for postoperative hemorrhage caused by intraperit oneal arterial injury is very difficult. We report herein the case of a 52- year-old woman who developed sudden right lower abdominal pain after numero us laparotomies and radiotherapy for advanced uterine cancer, A diagnosis o f pseudoaneurysm of the right external iliac artery was made, and an emerge ncy catheter embolization and femorofemoral bypass was successfully perform ed under local anesthesia. The patient was able to walk the nest day. To th e best of our knowledge, this is the first report of such a combined proced ure in the literature.
