Abstract
Efficient construction of the bicyclo[7.3.0]dodecenediyne cores of chromoph ore of C-1027 (1) and neocarzinostatin (2) was obtained via the C-C bond fo rmation at C5-C6 using the LiN(SiMe3)(2)/ CeCl3-mediated acetylide-aldehyde condensation reaction.
