Abstract
The one-pot acylation of ferrocene by the carboxylic acid/ phosphorus trich
loride/aluminum trichloride combination, in a dichloromethane solution at r
oom temperature was achieved. Mono- and diacylferrocenes were synthesized i
n high yields.
