Abstract
OBJECTIVE. Our objective was to determine the ease of installation and use of relatively inexpensive and free software applications that allow Macinto sh users to receive and view CT images from a Digital Imaging and COmmunica tion in Medicine-compliant imaging network. CONCLUSION. Simple-to-use Macintosh-based options to transfer and view imag es are readily available and easily installed by users with minimal compute r expertise.
