A problem is stated for the synthesis of continuous controllers that ensure
the desired accuracy of variables in the steady state under the effect of
unmeasurable polyharmonic bounded (external) disturbances with unknown ampl
itudes and frequencies. Conditions of problem solvability are found and syn
thesis algorithms are developed for two kinds of plants on the basis of inv
estigations of the frequency properties of linear-quadratic (LQ) optimal sy
stems and the choice of coefficients of a quadratic optimization functional
