Abstract
Treatment of posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injuries has received renewe d attention over the past few years. This article reviews the anatomy, natu ral history, and pathophysiology of posterior cruciate ligament injuries. A lso described are the physical examination and proper imaging modalities us ed to diagnose this injury. Appropriate operative and nonoperative manageme nt methods are discussed.
