Abstract
Electromagnetic wave penetration into a two-dimensional rectangular cavity with multiple slots in an infinite conducting plane with a finite thickness is investigated. The Fourier transform and a mode-matching technique are u sed to obtain simultaneous equations, which are solved to represent the sca ttered and penetrated fields in series forms suitable for numerical computa tions.
