Abstract
An advanced block-matching technique, in which the shape of the matching wi ndow is: calculated adaptively by applying an energy-based model, is introd uced. In this model the window shape is controlled by external forces defin ed according to the entropy of previously estimated disparities. their reli ability and the variation of the image intensity.
