Abstract
Red light was generated by the sum frequency mixing of 1.55 mu m emission o f an Er/Yb doped fibre amplifier with the unabsorbed 1.064 mu m Dump light in a 2.3cm long periodically poled LiNbO3 crystal. A maximum power of 0.45W was generated at 630nm.
