Pj. Millett et al., Idiopathic pseudoaneurysm of the dorsalis pedis artery mimicking pigmentedvillonodular synovitis, FOOT ANKL I, 20(1), 1999, pp. 42-43
Pseudoaneurysm of the dorsalis pedis artery is uncommon and is usually asso
ciated with a history of trauma to the vessel. Without such a history, the
diagnosis may be challenging, because the mass may be confused with other c
ommon soft tissue masses in the foot. This case report describes a 67-year-
old man with an idiopathic pseudoaneurysm of the dorsalis pedis artery that
mimicked pigmented villonodular synovitis.
