Abstract
This is the first report of a case in which diagnosis of en-plaque tubercul oma on the basis of magnetic resonance imaging (MRT) findings was confirmed by a Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex-specific PCR assay of cerebrospina l fluid. The accuracy of the diagnosis was supported by good response to an titubercular drugs, which was shown by repeat MRT studies performed after t reatment.
