Abstract
The investigation of a methanolic extract of Gliricidia sepium bark afforde d, in addition to vestitol and 2'-O-methylvestitol, three new 12a-hydroxyro tenoids, gliricidol(1), 2-methoxygliricidol (2), and gliricidin (3). The st ructures of 1-3 were elucidated by analysis of their spectroscopic data. Co mpounds 1-3 exhibited activity against Artemia salina larvae.
