Abstract
Equinus deformities are common in neuromuscular and trauma patients. In con trast, calcaneal gait disorders tend to be overlooked, and few reports char acterize and review calcaneal gait problems and disabilities. In the past 3 years, the authors treated 17 patients with calcaneal gait. Six of these c ases are reviewed; in addition, the general clinical characteristics of the patient with calcaneal gait pattern are described.
