Abstract
Results and Conclusions. Pancreatic pseudocysts may simulate renal cys ts symptomatically and radiographically. Background. Pancreatic diseas e can often mimic renal disease. This is especially true of pancreatic pseudocysts. Methods. We report an interesting case of a pancreatic p seudocyst mimicking a renal cyst on a computed tomography (CT) scan. T he clinical anatomy of retroperitoneal spaces and pathways followed by pancreatic secretions is examined. The literature on pancreatic disea ses simulating renal disorders is reviewed.
