J. Blawzdziewicz et al., Stokes flow in the presence of a planar interface covered with incompressible surfactant, PHYS FLUIDS, 11(2), 1999, pp. 251-258
The Lorentz solution for Stokes flow in the presence of a plane wall is gen
eralized to a surfactant-covered interface, and the Stokeslet solution is d
erived. The result is used to describe the motion of a small particle in th
e presence of the interface. The surfactant is insoluble and nondiffusing.
The effects of surface viscosity are included. Small variations in surfacta
nt concentration are assumed; this assumption usually holds under small cap
illary number conditions. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S1070-66
