Abstract
The react io ns of O-phenyl chloromethylphosphonochloridate and bis(chlorom ethyl)phosphinous chloride with sodium acetate afford the corresponding acy loxyphosphonates and acyloxyphosphinates, which are readily transformed due to disproportionation into pyrophosphonates and pyrophosphinates.
