"State social policies in the children' interests" (by Evgheni Rybinsky, Li
lia Kuznetsova, Margarita Nesmeyanova) sets forth the opinions of the parti
cipants in a "round-table" discussion in Moscow-based Institute of Childhoo
d and experts (from Moscow and Perm') questioned about the issue. In the sc
holars' opinion, the aim of these policies should consist in overcoming the
growing negative change in the state and society's" attitude towards child
ren, thus creating real pre-conditions for a positive dynamics in the proce
sses of children' life activities. Children' position in Russia should be r
egularly monitored.
