Abstract
N-beta-Glycosylated-asparagine and -glutamine derivatives, which are useful precursors for the synthesis of N-glycopeptides and their analogs, were ob tained in good yields by the reaction of a glycosyl azide and an N-alpha-pr otected-aspartic/glutamic acid alpha-monoester in the presence of trialkylp hosphine at low temperature.
