Abstract
Quadruply gamma-cyclodextrin-linked cofacial porphyrin is synthesized from the one-pot reaction of pyrrole and acetylated gamma-cyclodextrin 6(A),6(E) -bisbenzaldehyde by the Lindsey's method, Deacetylation affords the water-s oluble derivative.
