Abstract
[60]Fullerene reacted with aryloxy- and alkoxyketenes, generated in situ fr om the corresponding acid chlorides and triethylamine, to give the 1:2 addu cts in good yields. The reaction proceeded via a formal [2+2] cycloaddition , followed by enolization and acylation. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
