Abstract
The main data on immobilisation of hydroxyl-containing stationary liquid ph ases in capillary gas chromatography ale generalised and systematised. Spec ial attention is paid to the influence of chemical immobilisation reactions on the operational characteristics of capillary columns. It is noted that the synthesis of novel stationary liquid phases the properties and im-mobil isation conditions for which have been optimised with allowance made for sp ecific peculiarities of the objects tested and further improvement of exist ing methods of immobilisation of already known phases are the most promisin g trends.
