Abstract
A method is proposed for making quasi-solid specimens for x-ray fluorescenc e analysis by the introduction of a thickening agent (gelatin or agar, star ch, mater-soluble organosilicon polymer) into a liquid aqueous concentrate obtained by crystallization concentration, An organogel is obtained based o n an organic extract and a surface-active substance, Such specimens may be used in x-ray spectrometers for solid sample analyses.
