Abstract
An asymptomatic cardiac cyst located in the interventricular septum was dia gnosed in a 3.5-year-old child by echocardiographic findings. Surgical abla tion was done and hystopathologic analysis confirmed a hydatid cyst. The pa tient was discharged without symptoms. (C) 1998 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
