Abstract
The first part of this review summarizes the clinical developments concerni ng camptothecin, 9-aminocamptothecin, 9-nitrocamptothecin, GG-211 and DX-89 51f: The second part covers the recent developments of research on CPT anal ogs: CPTs with solubilizing substituents, CPTs with activating substituents , CPTs with dual activity, CPT prodrugs and CPTs with stabilized lactones.
