The template synthesis and X-ray crystal structure of the first dinuclear lanthanide(III) iminophenolate cryptate

Lanthanide ions act as templates in the formation of dinuclear Ln(III) comp lexes with a cryptand ligand bearing three phenolate groups; the presence o f both lanthanide ions into the cavity of the cryptand was confirmed by X-r ay structure analysis and spectroscopic data.
