Organometallic chemistry of polyanions (III) - Syntheses, characterizationand properties of estertin heteropoly complexes of PW9O349- with lacunary Keggin structure

Six new heteropoly anion-organometallic complexes Mg-9[(R'OOCCHR " H2SnOH2) (3) . (PW9O34)(2)] . xH(2)O(M= (CH3)(4)N+, K+; R' = CH3-, CH3CH2-; R " =H, CH3-) have been synthesized by reaction of estertin with Na8HPW9O34. The pr oducts were characterized and their properties were studied by elemental an alysis, IR, UV, H-1 NMR, P-31 NMR, W-183 NMR and TGA-DSC measurements. The sandwich structure of A, beta-PW9 type for these complexes were determined.
