Jf. Chen et al., Studies of vitamin K by pulse radiolysis and laser photolysis(II) - Time-resolved studies of oxidation reactions of VK3 in aqueous solution, CHEM J CH U, 19(11), 1998, pp. 1829-1831
The mechanisms of reactions between OH, SO4-. and VK3 in aqueous solution h
ave been investigated by using pulse radiolytical dynamic absorption spectr
oscopy. While VK3 reacts with (OH)-O-. and SO4(-.) respectively, the format
ion of dehydrogenated radical of VK3 with characteristic absorption peak ro
und 400 nm has been observed, this is also confirmed by the results of lase
r photolysis of VK3 in aqueous solution.
