Abstract
The binding reaction and resonant luminescence spectra of ethyl violet with
ctDNA have been studied, In the pH range of 5.0-10.0 ethyl violet exhibite
d a maximum of absorption at 595 nm, A new absorption peak at 507 nm appear
ed when ctDNA was added. It showed that a binding product of ethyl violet w
ith DNA formed, The product emitted a sharp resonant luminescence peak at 5
10 nm, The intensity of resonant luminescence was found to Le dependent on
the concentration of DNA, The linear range of the calibration graph was 0-5
00 ng/mL, The limit of detection(3 sigma) was 1.54 ng/mL, A new method of r
esonant luminescence for the determination of trace DNA was established wit
h high sensitivity and selectivity.
