Yb. Ge et al., Separation of fructose from fructose-glucose syrup using macroporous dihydroxyborylated polystyrene resin, CHEM J CH U, 19(10), 1998, pp. 1689-1692
Macroporous dihydroxyborylated polystyrene resin was prepared in this paper
through coupling m-aminophenylboronic acid and macroporous aminopolystyren
e by diazotization. Some factors which influence the absorbing ability for
fructose of the resin were investigated. Some factors which affect the elut
ion curve were also studied. Fructose was successfully separated from the m
ixture of glucose and fructose when using the resin as the separating mediu
m. The purity of the obtained fructose syrup was 99%, with a concentration
of 106 mg/mL. This resin may potentially be used in industry for separating
glucose and fructose.
