Abstract
A new class of forskolin derivatives have been synthesized based on 2- hydr oxy ethyl spacer and 2-dialkylaminomethyl chain had incorporated for promot ing water solubility. The synthetic strategy involves the regiospecific epo xide ring opening reaction with HCl in acetonitrile or by secondary amine. None of the compounds shows interesting biological activity.
