Abstract
The polymeric porphyrin film has been prepared by polymerization of terepht halaldehyde with pyrrole. The spectra and electrical properties of its comp lexes with transition metals (Cu, Co, Zn, Fe, Mn, Ni) have been discussed. The polymer exhibits semi-conducting property (sigma(rt)=5.08 x 10(-8)-4.44 x 10(-3) s/cm) after doping with iodine.
