Abstract
The structures of iron centers remarkably influenced the catalytic activiti es, the di-iron-containing gamma-SiW10{Fe(OH2)}(2)O-38(6-) being specifical ly the most active and giving high turnover numbers; the catalytic activiti es for oxidation of cyclohexane, cyclohexene, and trans-stilbene were 10(1) -10(2) times higher than those of non-, mono-, and tri-iron-substituted sil icotungstates.
