Abstract
We consider the diffusion of a reactive degree of freedom in a fluctuating potential constituted by two barriers which can be present or absent. When the coupling between the barriers is sufficiently strong, we show that the reaction probability presents a maximum at a certain frequency of fluctuati on of the obstacles, while the phenomenon disappears if the coupling is too weak.
