Abstract
We studied the relationship between the histopathology obtained by tra ns-bronchial lung biopsy (TBLB), and spirometric indices in 28 patient s of pulmonary sarcoidosis in whom the diagnosis was confirmed. There was a rough correlation between FVC and the histologic granuloma load, interstitial inflammation and the overall histopathological score. Ra diological features did not correlate with either spirometry or histop athology.
