Abstract
We describe a paraneoplastic renin production in a squamous cell carcinoma. Ectopic renin production has only rarely been observed up to now. The comb ination of hypokalemia and hypertonia should remind of this clinical pictur e. Symptomatic treatment with an ACE inhibitor appears to be useful.
