Abstract
Pentasodium dibismuth arsenate bis(diarsenate) has been synthesized by soli d-state reaction and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure is a three-dimensional framework comprising distorted BiO6 octah edra, As2O7 groups and AsO4 tetrahadra sharing corners. Along the c axis, t he structure exhibits large tunnels where Na+ cations are located.
