Abstract
We review the conventional and fuzzy gain scheduling techniques develo ped so far, and highlight their advantages and problems. The neural ne twork gain scheduling and neuro-fuzzy gain scheduling schemes are then developed. A simulation study is conducted to reveal the new features and the performance improvement of the neuro-fuzzy gain scheduling ov er other gain scheduling methods. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
