The outlook of chemical analytical test methods is given. These method s allow to carry out the on-site analysis, even in residence house. To ols for express testing include ampoules, droppers, paper strips, tabl ets, indicator tubes, etc. General principle of chemical tests is the use of selective and sensitive reagents under the conditions and in th e forms that allow visual and other easily measurable effects, e.g., t he intensity of paper color or the length of a colored part of a tube. New methods and tools developed in the author's laboratory are consid ered (particularly for environmental analysis).
