Abstract
In this work, we study a new kind of environmental compact infrared sensors
. These sensors combine a new kind of infrared multilayer filler, solid sta
te Fabry-Perot filters, with narrow bandpass IR optical filters and a pyroe
lectric detector array. This general goal is obtained by means of three dif
ferent items: study of infrared parameters of pyroelectric materials; study
and selection of the gas to sense, and the design and study of properties
of the system sensor.
