Different phases of the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system have been prepared by an elect
rodeposition process: SrCuO2, Sr2CuO3, Ca7Bi10O22, Sr2Bi2O5, Bi2CuO4 and th
e Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x superconductor. The synthesis procedure consists on two s
teps. First, the deposition of the metallic constituents of the mixed oxide
on the silver substrate (working electrode) from the optimized electrolyti
c bath by means of a chronoamperometry. Afterwards, the obtained deposit is
oxidized in air at 800 degrees C for 12 h. This paper details the study of
the dependence between the ratio of the cations in the deposit and in the
electrolytic bath. The films of the Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x superconductor are orie
nted along the c-axis and showed T-c values up to 95 K.
